Setup, Training and Installation - $90-$120/hour– this includes setting up a new QuickBooks financial or Point-of-Sale software, installing it; providing one-on-one training of the software to the owners or principals; performing Data File Surveys and Analysis; setting up and preparing budgets; preparing quarterly compilation reports with financials; and designing a client’s workflow with QuickBooks. This work will be performed by an Advanced Pro Advisor or Staff Accountant. Training (one-on-one) -- $75/hour – this includes one-on-one training of bookkeepers, small business owners and office managers on the daily tasks and how to perform them in QuickBooks. This includes entering bills, invoices, and sales receipts, receiving payments, making deposits and writing checks. It is training for the beginning user who has little experience with the software. Bookkeeping - $55/hour – this includes all general bookkeeping functions, such as entering bills, posting payments and deposits; reconciling bank accounts; paying bills and printing checks; maintaining Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable modules and reports; producing 1099s; and maintaining payroll. This work will be performed by the Staff Accountant or Bookkeeper. Data Entry -- $40/hour – this includes straight-forward data entry, such as simple data transfer manually of lists and other records. This is not to be confused with entering transactions which require a bookkeeping skill. Data entry will be performed by the data entry clerk, or bookkeeper as necessary. Remote Access – this involves a staff member accessing the client’s workstation over the Internet to either resolve issues or perform training. This is performed at a rate of $60/hour regardless of the staff member performing the work, or the type of support provided. Remote Accounting Solutions file transfer – this is a third-party service which allows us to easily and securely transfer client files back and forth between the client and our office without the need to make copies. The fee is $10 per month, but only for those months when it is used. This is the cost to Labrador Accounting, and is only a pass-through cost to the client. Appointments – there is a minimum two-hour charge for all onsite work, and a minimum one-half hour charge for remote access connections. There is no charge for the first missed appointment, however, a second missed appointment will be charged at the minimum rates. Pick-up/Delivery – included when provided at the time and onsite location when services are provided. However, outside pick-up or delivery of documents outside of normal postal channels is $20 per event. |
